Email On Your Apple Device
Follow these steps to add your Karma Computing hosted Email account onto your iPhone, iPad or Mac. Some of these images are pretty tiny, so if you wish to see a bigger version, just click on it and they'll be opened in a new tab/window.
Apple iPhone & iPad
Open the 'Settings' app on your iDevice and scroll down to 'Accounts and Passwords'
Tap 'Add Account' and then 'Other'
Tap the top option 'Add Mail Account', then enter the following:
- Name: Your name e.g. Connor McGee
- Email: Your email address e.g. connor@mcgee.com
- Password: The password we assigned for you
- Description: Whatever you'd like to be shown on your Mail app e.g. 'Work'
After tapping next, you may be asked for some additonal information. Enter the following for both Incoming Mail Server and Outgoing Mail Server
- Hostname: email.karmacomputing.co.uk
- Username: your email address e.g. connor@mcgee.com
- Password: The password we assigned for you
This concluded the setup process, your account will now be shown in the iOS Mail App.
Apple iMac & MacBook
At the top left of your screen, click the Apple icon and select 'System Preferences...', then click 'Internet Accounts'
Scroll down the main window and click 'Add another account', then select 'Mail Account'
Enter your name, email address and the password we assigned for you, then click 'Sign In'
After clicking 'Sign In', you may be asked for some additonal information.
- Username: your email address e.g. connor@mcgee.com
- Password: The password we assigned for you
- Account Type: IMAP
- Incoming & Outgoing Mail Server: email.karmacomputing.co.uk
